Taylor Swift’s viral ‘Stevie Knicks’ shirt is the merch you can make yourself | Life and style

From jerseys to baseball caps featuring the viral “My mayor Muslim, my bagel’s Jewish” chant, everyone, whether a bandwagoner such as singer-songwriter Noah Kahan or a lifelong fan, has been eager to display their support for the New York Knicks.

In the fourth game of the 2026 NBA Finals, Taylor Swift may have won the celebrity merch game: she wore a royal blue T-shirt with orange lettering, emblazoned with “Stevie Knicks” across the chest. Ahead of Saturday’s fifth (and possibly final) showdown between the Knicks and the San Antonio Spurs, you may be seeking your own blue and orange merch.

If you’re hoping to steal Swift’s viral T-shirt, sellers on marketplaces such as Etsy and Teepublic are offering versions.

For merch in general, beyond fast fashion sites such as Shein, secondhand platforms have a seemingly endless inventory of unique options to guarantee that you will not be matching with everyone at your local bar. Guardian sports editors recommend sifting through sites such as Depop and Grailed, where you’ll find everything from vintage long sleeves to retro-looking windbreakers.

The only problem: these options may not arrive by Saturday’s game. Don’t want to pay exorbitant rush shipping fees? It’s not too hard to make your own.

Celebrity stylist Dan P Lee thinks so. To copy Swift’s T-shirt: “I feel like that’s a good DIY shirt,” said Lee, who has dressed pro basketball players, including NBA athlete Joel Embiid.

He suggests heading to your local print shop. Lee uses Custom EZ, a shop in New York’s Harlem that also offers shipping. For one identical to Swift’s, just ask them to put “Stevie Knicks” across the front. Other custom sellers that offer speedy shipping include Zazzle and Customink, although arrival dates vary by region.

If you’re feeling artistic, you could also purchase a royal blue T-shirt (our staff recommends this one) and orange iron-on letters, which are available for even speedier shipping from retailers such as Amazon and Walmart.

As for the Spurs fans reading this? Well, your team may have lost the latest game, but perhaps its black and white colors mean you can show your support with a plain white tee …
