Legendary NFL kicker Adam Vinatieri poked fun at longtime New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick during his Pro Football Hall of Fame speech on Saturday.
According to Rob Maaddi of the Associated Press, Vinatieri joked that Belichick couldn’t make it to Canton, Ohio, for the ceremony because he was “judging his girlfriend’s cheerleading contest.” Vinatieri followed his quip up by calling Belichick “the greatest.”
Vinatieri’s comment was in reference to Belichick’s girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, who is 49 years the junior of the 74-year-old Belichick.
