NBA playoffs 2026: Cavaliers storm past Raptors to win Game 7, series

The Cleveland Cavaliers are on to the second round of the 2026 NBA playoffs after blowing past the Toronto Raptors 114-102 in Game 7 on Sunday.

Toronto led the entirety of the first half until Cleveland tied it up heading into the break. The Cavaliers used that momentum to go ahead after a dominant third quarter — they outscored the Raptors 38-19 to pull away for good. The plus-19 point differential marked Cleveland’s best point differential in any quarter this series.

The Raptors cut it down to an 11-point lead with 2:31 left in the game, but Cavaliers held on to a win. They will now face the Detroit Pistons, who won their own Game 7 on Sunday against the Orlando Magic. It’s the third straight season Cleveland is in the second round — its longest such streak since 2014-2018.

Cavaliers center Jarrett Allen led the team with playoff career-high 22 points — 14 of which came in the third quarter — along with 19 rebounds. Donovan Mitchell added 22 points, while James Harden had 18. Cleveland enjoyed a massive rebounding advantage with 60 to 30, including 20 offensive boards. It’s the largest rebounding differential (+27) in a winner-take-all game since 1987.

Scottie Barnes put up 24 points, nine rebounds and six assists for Toronto. Barnes is the third Raptors player with at least 20 points, five rebounds and five assists in a Game 7. Following his game-winner in Game 6, RJ Barrett had 23 points and six assists.

Here are the top moments and highlights from the Cavaliers’ Game 7 victory.
