Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett revealed that he will be traveling to Italy to support girlfriend and Olympic gold medal-winning snowboarder Chloe Kim at this year’s Winter Games.
“I finish up here Sunday, get back for about 12 hours, and then I hit the road and go to see her,” Garrett told Janine Rubenstein of People Magazine at the Super Bowl LX Media Row on Friday.
Kim and Garrett, of course, are both incredibly accomplished athletes.
Kim has won gold in the halfpipe at each of the last two Olympic Games. She’s also a three-time gold medalist at the halfpipe at the World Championships (2019, 2021, 2025). In addition, Kim has added 10 medals (eight gold, one silver, one bronze) in the Winter X-Games’ SuperPipe competition.
“We’re both just so supportive of one another,” says Garrett, who is in San Francisco on behalf of Uncrustables. “She’s always texting, she’s always calling to see how I’m doing during the year and I’m doing the same right now, checking on her, seeing how she’s feeling, emotionally and physically.”
Kim is going for the golden three-peat in the halfpipe this winter. She unfortunately suffered a shoulder injury during training in January but said she is “good to go” for the Olympics.
Garrett just earned the NFL’s single-season sack record, amassing 23.0 for the 2025 campaign. He earned Associated Press Defensive Player of the Year honors for the second time and has now made the All-Pro First Team on five occasions.
