Mike Tindall once disclosed his thoughts about Prince Harry with a single scathing one-word remark.
The former England rugby international and husband of the Queen’s granddaughter, Zara, is reported to have made the blunt assessment following the platinum party at Buckingham Palace in June 2022.
This was when Prince Harry had returned to commemorate the Queen’s historic jubilee.
Tindall allegedly didn’t hold back about what he thought of the Duke of Sussex.
While the Prince missed the concert outside Buckingham Palace, Tindall was present and found himself seated behind the current Prince of Wales.
After the concert concluded, Tindall spoke to another guest and reportedly branded Prince Harry’s behaviour as that of a “b******,” according to the Daily Express.
During the celebrations, Meghan and Harry made just one official appearance alongside other family members.
The couple attended the thanksgiving service at St Paul’s Cathedral but kept away from public engagements for the remainder of the festivities.
Although Zara did speak with Meghan, her husband steered clear of conversation with the Prince, opting instead to stay silent or speak with the Earl of Snowdon.
As rows of royals started departing, Zara was spotted beside her husband who was stationed by the exit ready to welcome those leaving the venue.
Video footage captured them being approached by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, with Meghan seen having an animated chat with the Queen’s granddaughter. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle previously enjoyed a close bond with Mike and Zara Tindall.
However, the friendship deteriorated after the Duke and Duchess started mixing with Hollywood’s elite.
Jane Owen, celebrity PR specialist and founder of Jane Owen PR, previously told The Mirror that “Hollywood loves Royalty,” noting that both Zara and Mike “can take advantage of that interest and attention.”
She added: “If their team knows what they are doing they could potentially become even more popular in time than Meghan and Harry because they don’t have to combat the negative publicity and the mistakes they have made to regain trust and momentum.”
