Lakers’ LeBron James Impresses Fans in Return from Foot Injury vs. Morant, Grizzlies | News, Scores, Highlights, Stats, and Rumors

After a two-game absence due to foot soreness, Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James returned to the lineup in Sunday’s matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies and wasted no time bringing fans at Crypto.com Arena to their feet.

James provided some early excitement with a scintillating sequence in the first quarter where he threw down a one-handed dunk and then followed it up with a chase-down block:

James’ return to the lineup clearly provided a spark for the Lakers, as they took an 18-point lead into halftime and led by as many as 23 points in the game.

Fans on social media couldn’t hold back their excitement for seeing the Lakers put on a dominant performance with the 39-year-old legend back on the floor:

The Lakers are up 58-38 late in the 2nd Q on a Grizzlies team that came into the night winners of 10 of their last 11. Anthony Davis already has 22 pts and 10 reb and LeBron has been sharp in his return (8 pts, 5 reb, 4 ast, 2 blk)

The Lakers have been struggling to find inconsistency this season, so hopefully James’ return to the lineup will yield positive results as they try to establish themselves as a contender in the Western Conference.
