Disgraced Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor tried to set up a meeting between notorious paedophile Jeffrey Epstein and murderous dictator Muammar Gaddafi, new emails reportedly show.
The former Duke of York, who was humiliated yet again in the latest tranche of Epstein documents released by the US Department of Justice, allegedly leveraged his status as a UK trade envoy in 2010 after the sex trafficker said people had asked “if I want to meet him”. Epstein then appears to try and arrange a meeting with Gaddafi or his associates via the then-Prince.
The emails suggest plans would have seen Epstein travel to Tripoli just a year before Gaddafi was captured and killed by rebel fighters participating in the Arab Spring.

The emails, uncovered by Channel 4 News, show correspondence in which Epstein appears to say that people who have met Gaddafi “have asked me if I want to meet him as he does not know where to put his money”. Epstein then goes on to attempt to arrange a meeting with either Gaddafi or his associates via Mountbatten-Windsor.
Emails sent on October 7, 2010, show Epstein initially reaching out to Mountbatten-Windsor associate David Stern, telling him: “i want to go to tripoli lets organize with pa”.
PA appears several times in Epstein email correspondance as a suspected alias for Prince Andrew. Gaddafi is referred to using a series of aliases, including “the father” and “the leader”. Stern states in a follow-up email that he had spoken to PA, who suggested a trip to Tripoli “can be organised”.
He writes: “Spoke to PA. Tripoli can be organised, he wants more details.” Mountbatten-Windsor had met the Colonel and his son, recently assassinated Saif al-Islam Gaddafi, in Libya while serving as UK trade envoy.
In further emails regarding Libya, the then-Prince appears to suggest he has a contact with someone who has the ear of “Brother Leader”. Epstein replies in another email appearing to lay out why he wanted the meeting to go forward, saying: “people that have seen the father, have asked me if i want to meet him as he does not know where to put his money […]”
“I wondered if Pa should make the intro instead”. Andrew eventually contacts Epstein himself, saying Libya had been “fixed” and telling the paedophile to “call me whenever”.
In a final email suggesting the meeting would still go ahead sent on November 7, Epstein responds to Mountbatten-Windsor saying he would “gladly go to Tripoli”. He says: “I was just following up on your suggestion that i should meet the leader as he is in need of advice. […] I will gladly go to tripoli, as i thinkg it would be interesting, but only if it is easy to organize and the meeting will definitely take place.”
However, additional emails uncovered inside the DOJ tranche suggest the meeting between the sex trafficker and dictator did not go ahead.
The Daily Mirror has contacted Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s representatives for comment.
