Celebrity Guest List Included Larry David

Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen said “I do” surrounded by some of their famous friends!

The guest list at the couple’s May 31 nuptials not surprisingly included a number of Allen’s Buffalo Bills teammates, among them fellow quarterback Mitch Trubisky, tight end Dawson Knox and offensive tackle Spencer Brown, according to photos shared on X. They appeared to have served as groomsmen, as they all wore matching suits and bowties.

Comedian and television producer Larry David was also spotted at the wedding, walking the grounds while holding an umbrella, presumably to shade himself from the bright California sun.

The Seinfeld co-creator’s unexpected appearance prompted lots of chatter among fans on social media, with one writing that David attending “was definitely not on my bingo card but I love it.”

In photos of the actress and NFL star’s outdoor ceremony, Steinfeld, 28, can be seen wearing a white strapless wedding gown, a tulle veil and sheer opera gloves. Allen, 29, sported a classic black suit, white shirt and black bowtie.

The two held hands at the altar and then shared a sweet kiss after the officiant declared them husband and wife.

Steinfeld and Allen — who were first linked in May 2023 and made their relationship Instagram official in July 2024 — got engaged in Malibu, California, in November 2024. In the months after, the two, who keep their relationship pretty private, both made rare comments here and there about how they were savoring the new chapter in their love story.

In March, Steinfeld told PEOPLE that her engagement to the NFL star was “such a special time for so many reasons.”

“I couldn’t be more excited,” she said. “I’m so happy — we’re so happy — and we’re just soaking in every moment.”

Reflecting on Allen’s romantic proposal in a February 2025 interview with Who What Wear, the Sinners star said it was “magical — that’s the word.”

After sharing that Allen coyly made sure she was dressed up for the surprise moment, she added, “I’m so grateful that he did it the way he did so that I looked good, and we have these photos that we’ll have and cherish for the rest of our lives that I’m not looking at being like, ‘What was I wearing?’ ”

Ahead of the couple’s wedding, Bills general manager Brandon Beane jokingly shared his one request for the celebration — “good booze” — as he revealed some insight into how well Steinfeld fits into the Buffalo team’s extended “family.”

“I’ll tell you what, Rich, she is as humble as they come,” Beane said on The Rich Eisen Show on May 6 . “She’s done a lot of stuff with our local women, the wives, girlfriends of the club, and I’ve heard it not only from my wife, but so many of the others, like, just how down-to-earth she is for the success she’s had.”

Beane said Steinfeld “just blends right in” within the Bills organization, noting, “It’s a testament to her and to Josh. He’s the exact same way.”

Allen also hasn’t been shy with his praise for his now-wife, particularly her support of his football career. Back in December, he told reporters that Steinfeld has been “a huge part” of his success on the field.

“The morale, the support. When I get home, she’s my biggest fan, my biggest supporter. She’s just the best,” Allen added.
