The Indiana Fever are upgrading in a major way, and star guard Caitlin Clark and the rest of the players are sure to be pleased.
On Thursday, the Fever released the renderings for their new $78 million, 108,000 square-foot practice facility that is expected to open before the 2027 WNBA season. Some of the amenities include dual practice courts, recovery suites, a beauty salon and a golf simulator.
“These renderings bring our vision into focus,” Fever team president Kelly Krauskopf said in a release. “Every element of this facility has been intentionally designed around our players including how they train, recover, connect and live day to day. This will set a new standard for women’s sports and continue to position Indianapolis at the center of that momentum.”
Once the Fever’s Performance Center is completed, the release stated that it will be “the largest and most advanced training facility in the WNBA.”
The Fever went 24-20 last season and fell to the Atlanta Dream in the first round of the playoffs. Clark endured an injury-riddled year in which she was limited to just 13 games.
Indiana will begin preseason play later this month when it meets the New York Liberty on April 25.
