Caleb Wilson’s Final Box Score Stats, Highlights from Bulls vs. Jazz Summer League with Peterson Out

The Utah Jazz overcame the absence of star rookie Darryn Peterson to notch a 80-63 victory over Caleb Wilson and the Chicago Bulls on Monday in NBA 2026 Summer League action.

The victory gave the Jazz their first win of the 2026 NBA 2026 Summer League, improving them to 1-2 behind a strong performance from their supporting cast in the absence of the No. 2 overall pick.

In addition to Peterson, Utah was without its star players Ace Bailey and Cody Williams on Monday in Las Vegas, leaving the Jazz without much of their backcourt rotation.

Peterson was coming off a strong performance in Sunday’s loss to the Los Angeles Clippers, finishing with 23 points, five assists, two steals and two blocks.

The Jazz did not announce a reason for Peterson’s absence, though it came on the second night of a back-to-back in Summer League.

In the absence of Peterson, Jonas Aidoo led the Jazz with 17 points and 11 rebounds for a double-double, adding 3 blocks and one steal.

Orlando Robinson finished with 14 points, nine rebounds and two blocks, Justin Harmon added 11 points while Hayden Gray anchored the defensive effort with four steals.

The Bulls leaned on No. 4 overall pick Wilson, who delivered 19 points while shooting 3-of-8 from 3-point range to go with eight rebounds and two assists, two steals and five rebounds.

Jaylin Sellers filled the box score with 13 points, four rebounds and an assist, adding a steal and two blocks. Donovan Atwell finished with six points while Noa Essengue fueled the defensive effort with two steals and two blocks.

The Bulls remained winless in Summer League play, falling to 0-2.

Utah led 42-33 at the break, behind 10 points from Robinson and six from undrafted rookie Aidoo. The Bulls were led by Wilson with seven points, one steal and two blocks.

Despite leading by as many as 16 points in the third quarter, Utah saw its advantage trimmed to nine after the Bulls closed the period on a 5-0 run and carried the momentum into the opening minutes of the fourth.

The Jazz narrowly outscored the Bulls 26-20 in the final quarter but it was enough to pull away for a 17-point victory.

Before posting 19 points on Monday, Wilson poured in a game-high 35 points on 57 percent shooting from the field while adding five rebounds, two steals and three blocks to open Summer League with a loss to Cam Boozer and the Memphis Grizzlies.

The Jazz get a day to rest before they face the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday and the Bulls will head into a back-to-back against the Washington Wizards on Tuesday.
