Angel Reese’s Final Box Score Stats, Highlights as Lynx Beat Dream Without Napheesa Collier

Despite missing star forward Napheesa Collier once again, the Minnesota Lynx took down Angel Reese and the Atlanta Dream by the final score of 96-81 on Wednesday night.

Reese finished with 10 points, eight rebounds, five assists and one steal in 27 minutes on the floor. She shot 3-of-6 on two-point field goals, but missed both of her three-point attempts.

Collier didn’t suit up in the contest as she continues her recovery from ankle surgery, but Courtney Williams and Natasha Howard stepped up in her absence.

Williams scored a game-high 25 points while shooting 10-of-15 from the field and 3-of-5 from three-point territory. She also dished out seven assists and grabbed three rebounds.

Howard ended the contest with 22 points on 11-of-16 shooting. She racked up eight rebounds, five assists, two steals and two blocks as well.

Minnesota opened the game on an 11-2 run and eventually led 20-7, but Atlanta steadily chipped away at the deficit throughout the remainder of the first half.

The Lynx ended up holding a mere 42-37 lead at halftime.

Atlanta only trailed 44-40 early in the third quarter, although Minnesota immediately went on a 13-0 run to gain separation over the Dream.

The Lynx maintained a double-digit advantage throughout the remainder of the contest, leading by as many as 19 points in the win.

Minnesota improved to 5-2, while Atlanta fell to 4-2.
