Donovan Mitchell Reacts to ‘Let’s Go Knicks’ Chants After Cavs Lose Game 3 of ECF at Rocket Arena

Cleveland Cavaliers star Donovan Mitchell detailed his reaction to opposing fans making their presence felt at Rocket Arena during the team’s 121-108 loss to the New York Knicks in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

“I’m from New York, this doesn’t shock me,” Mitchell told reporters after the game. “They do it in every arena. It’s like Cowboys fans. It’s just who they are. I don’t think it’s a Cleveland thing. It wasn’t just us, you look at Philly. It’s how Knicks fans are, I was one back in the day.”

Fans were heard chanting “Let’s go Knicks” during the contest as New York took a commanding 3-0 series lead.

Mitchell finished with 23 points and four assists in the defeat, shooting 9-of-21 from the field and 3-of-10 from three-point territory.

Large amounts of Knicks fans have been present on the road throughout their current playoff run, which included their first-round series win over the Atlanta Hawks as well as their second-round sweep of the Philadelphia 76ers.
