- Loughlin’s feelings towards Giannulli are not as rosy, with a source telling PEOPLE she’s “angry” with the designer
- In October, PEOPLE confirmed that the pair split after nearly 28 years of marriage and two daughters together
Mossimo Giannulli feels no ill will toward estranged wife Lori Loughlin, an insider tells PEOPLE.
Despite their separation, which PEOPLE confirmed in October, the former couple remain on good terms and in communication, says a source.
“The speculation over his dating life and his relationship with Lori really upsets their kids,” the source continues, noting that Giannulli, 62, “wants everything to be resolved quietly” as he and Loughlin, 61, proceed with their divorce.
“He’ll never not love Lori,” the insider says of Giannulli, who shares daughters Olivia Jade and Isabella Rose with Loughlin. “He thinks she’s a lovely person and an incredible mom.”
But Loughlin’s feelings towards Giannulli are not as rosy. Another source recently told PEOPLE she is “extremely angry” with the fashion designer, to whom she was married for 28 years. A second source also said that the estranged exes have lived “separate lives” since parting ways.

PEOPLE confirmed in October 2025 that the pair had split. At the time, a representative for Loughlin said in a statement that she and Giannulli were “living apart and taking a break from their marriage,” although “no legal proceedings” had begun.
Later that month, an insider told PEOPLE that “things have never been the same” after the pair “weathered the college admission fallout and the prison sentences together.”
In May 2020, Loughlin and Giannulli pleaded guilty to wire and mail fraud after they were accused of paying $500,000 to a college consultant who falsely designated their daughters Olivia Jade Giannulli and Isabella Rose Giannulli as recruits to the University of Southern California’s crew team for their admission to the school. Neither Olivia nor Isabella ever participated in the sport.

The source said in October that the past few years “put a strain on their marriage,” and “Lori feels betrayed.”
“It’s not a happy situation for her,” the source added. “They’re in very different places right now and it’s unlikely that they’ll find their way back together.”

A source previously told PEOPLE that Loughlin’s friends are furious with Giannulli as well.
“She has a good group of friends. A lot of her friends are also divorced and have gone through the same thing she currently is,” the source said. “They’re rallying behind her, and they do not like him.”
Shortly after news of the split, a source revealed to PEOPLE how the exes’ daughters were coping, saying that it’s “obviously been tough, but Olivia and Bella aren’t taking sides.”
“They both love their parents and just want them to be happy. At the end of the day, they just want everyone to be okay.”
