The IDF killed a Hezbollah maintenance officer, Ibrahim Muhammad Raslan, in the Kounine area in southern Lebanon, the military said Friday.

Israel’s Security Cabinet and the heads of the security establishment met on Thursday evening with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to discuss the strengthening of Hezbollah in Lebanon.
“This is a significant discussion in light of Hezbollah’s actions on the ground,” an Israeli official said.
During a tour on Israel’s northern border last week with Defense Minister Israel Katz, US Ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee, Israel’s Ambassador to the United States, Dr. Yechiel Leiter, and the IDF Northern Command chief, Major-General Rafi Milo, the Trump administration’s special envoy to Lebanon, Morgan Ortagus, was told that Hezbollah continues to arm itself and has managed to smuggle hundreds of missiles across the Syrian border.

Last week, The Jerusalem Post reported that Western intelligence officials believe Hezbollah has accelerated its rehabilitation efforts, including by recruiting more terrorists into its ranks. “Hezbollah is rebuilding itself much faster than the Lebanese Army is dismantling its weapons,” the officials said.
IDF kills several Hezbollah terrorists attempting to rebuild organization
On Wednesday, the IDF said it had killed Hussein Ali Tohmeh, a Hezbollah operative responsible for the terrorist group’s logistical support in the Qana region of southern Lebanon, on October 14.
On Monday, the IDF killed two Hezbollah terrorists in southern Lebanon, one of whom was a member of its Radwan Forces.
The military stated that the two terrorists took part in “advancing numerous terrorist attacks toward Israeli territory” and were attempting to rebuild Hezbollah’s terror infrastructure in the region.
Last Saturday and Sunday, the IDF killed three Hezbollah terrorists. Of them, two were involved in smuggling weapons from Syria to Lebanon.
