We’re going to hold your hand when we say this: your core is not just your abs. In this 15-minute workout, M/Body founder Marnie Alton leads you through a sweat session designed to strengthen the parts of your core you’ve probably forgotten about. From traveling curtsy lunges for the obliques to high kicks for the transverse abdominis, this standing full-body workout will have you sweating in no time.

If you’ve come looking for a traditional ab burn-out, expect to be pleasantly surprised. Rather than cramping up from crunches, Alton will have you jumping, punching, and lunging to build heat and get your heart rate up. But this is so much more than a core workout — it’s also a HIIT session with a healthy dose of cardio incorporated throughout.
